Until very recently, all my images have been shot with film and printed on to traditional photographic paper emulsions. I’ve always thought the quality and longevity has been unsurpassable. However, technology originally designed for the military to produce high definition satellite imaging, is now available to the professional photographer. Laser Light printing, combines digital technology imaging with original photographic papers and processes, to obtain the very best of both worlds. When I have an image on either transparency or negative film the image is usually scanned to a digital file where I then prepare it for printing. It is then printed on either Ilfrochrome (used to be known as Cibachrome), a Pigment ink print on Art paper or canvas or any other display material such as glass or perspex is available at the clients request. Prices All “Open Edition” prints have had their prices set and published on their individual web pages. Some of these images can be printed onto canvas, perspex or any other display medium and again these have a link on their page telling you so. Click on the link, and you will be taken to an additional page for further information. Limited Editions. Some of the images here are limited edition, signed print runs. Their price depends on the number that is left in the edition. Please contact us for the latest information on any edition. Below is a rough guide to the pricing scales
Photographic Prints Normally, my photo print sizes are no bigger that 45cm on their longest axis, which means they will fit onto a 50 x 40 cm paper sheet, leaving a border matt, or frame. There are one or two in my collections that print larger (75 x 50cm) and they are indicated on their web page. Some of my images are best suited to ‘Art Paper’ due to their subject. These are printed digitally on a UV printer with pigment inks, giving a proven assurance for longevity. Prints on Canvas and Other Materials Certain images in the collection lend themselves to being printed on material other than photographic paper. Usually these are for larger displays, either in the home or work/commercial environments. To give you the choice, I have selected three main sizes.
